Banana Chocolate Hazelnut Bites

Okay, okay, so these are really just sliced bananas with Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter, but they look like little toddler hors d'oeuvres. A class mate of mine introduced me to the Justin's Nut Butter family...she always has it in little packs during our longest class in the world. It tastes like that other hazelnut chocolate butter, but the ingredient list is a little friendlier in that nuts are the first ingredient rather than sugar, and there is nothing artificial. (I really had to hunt around to find the ingredient list for the original one, not so much for the Justin's). It's a bit pricey, but it is delicious, and Graham loves this little snack. Warning: Bad idea for an unsupervised snack. Nut butter will be coming out of a two year old's eyeballs.

*A serving of the hazelnut butter has a good amount of fiber, protein and iron. And of course, bananas are known for potassium, but they're an even better source of vitamin C and contribute 41% of the RDA for vitamin B6. B6 is necessary for proper cell growth, especially important for a growing little boy (or girl)!
