Haricot Verts

Rather than green beans, haricot verts seems a more appropriate name with our new fancy camera. G2 says it's mine, but I think it's safe to say he's a tad more excited about it. As a matter of fact, he took the picture of this little green bean salad I threw together to go along with some lentil burgers last night (that re-heated wonderfully in a skillet with a little oil). I am looking forward to (hopefully) learning to use our new camera and making the blog look a little better.

I just steamed the green beans, drizzled with hazelnut oil (my new favorite thing, besides the camera, of course) and topped with organic gorgonzola cheese, walnuts and diced yellow tomatoes. Oh, and sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Pretty good stuff...no matter if the French name or boring old American name is used.
