Delicious Food I Did Not Make

A drawback to having a leap year birthday is not ever really knowing when to celebrate. On the other hand, a serious benefit to having a leap year birthday is not ever really knowing when to celebrate. How about all week? We met some friends for drinks one night and my bff Wendy made these awesome un-cupcakes for my un-birthday.

They were like little carrot cake and cream cheese frosting sandwiches. A-Mazing. I tried to save one for my little one, but we ate the few remaining when we got home that night.

On my actual (almost) birthday, G2 made this delicious Spanish Tortilla with the help of his brother's recipe. He doesn't cook. Ever. Well, maybe every two years. And he'll he heat up the occasional pizza. It was fantastic. I'm not sure if I can top it, but I'll have to give it a shot soon.

Graham enjoyed it, too. We also ate out quite a bit last week. It was a great birthweek, but I'm ready to get back in the kitchen. Looking forward to the spinach and mushroom enchiladas that are in the oven right now!
