Thanksgiving

I am way behind on this whole blogging thing. I never could keep a diary for longer than a week. For a brief catch-up, this kid can put away some food like nobody's business. I am not kidding. I don't have another baby to compare to, but it seems like he eats a LOT. He's eating a lot of what we do, or sometimes a slightly different version. I still give him 'baby food', though. Anyway, I think I'll just go back to Thanksgiving to get started again.

We were supposed to go to Branson, MO, but didn't. It was sad because we didn't see family we were planning to see, but it did open up some other great food engagements! We went to a brunch Wednesday morning at my sister-in-law's mom's house, where Graham had all kinds of firsts: cheese grits, monkey bread, and fruit salad (the kiwi and mango were both new to him). That night, we went to an early Thanksgiving get together at G2's cousin's house. Graham had whipped sweet potatoes, broccoli cheese casserole, bread...I can't even remember what else. Thanksgiving day was at his Uncle Bobo and Aunt Aim Aim's house where he had delicious stuffed squash, homemade rolls, sweet potato pie. This was all fine and good, but his tummy did not take to all of this rich food so well. A little at a time from now on. Hopefully for me, too! All in all, I think it was a great first Thanksgiving for him.
