I finally got around to making apple sauce. My mom said, "it's crazy he hasn't had apple sauce, yet, that's what most babies start with!". Oh well. They were kind-of a pain. During this little adventure I discovered I have no idea how to core an apple while it's whole. Still don't. So, I halved them (quartered one to fit), placed them a little water and baked them at 350 until they were soft. Getting the skin off was much more difficult than it should have been, so next time I'm peeling them first.

I put them in the blender...a first as I usually use the food processor. It worked, but took a long time. I'll probably stick to the processor from now on.

Graham loved the apples, which wasn't a big surprise. I used organic gala apples for this batch, but there are so many varieties of apples we've got lots to try! Especially with apple season upon us!
